Review summary

Loved everything about this ship, crew and staff. Our Neptune suite on deck 7 was incredible and the lounge was a huge hit with us for coffee and tea every morning. Days at sea were so relaxing, after going to the gym, it was the perfect place to hang out and read. Although there are over 1900 passengers onboard it never seemed overwhelming. The ship has been refurbished and it looks lovely. The 3 ports were great Cabo was by tender, we stayed onboard at mazatlan and did a fun foodie tour in Puerto Vallarta.

no mazatlan?????...love mazatlan,ocean is so warm,French quarter shopping,golden zone,cliff divers....you missed beautiful city

it's what they call casual elegance slacks and Tommy Bahamas shirts for the guys and capris and nice tops for ladies. there is no formal night or jackets for guys unless it's chilly. I lived in shorts every day and then capris or a sun dress for dinner

Thanks for your response. One other question, we prefer casual. Except at dinner. Is this ship, what I would say stuffy?

Ps they only reason we did the HAL was it was out of san Diego where we live, thus avoiding the airport

Love the windstar it's one of two of our favs the other being seabourn. The small 148 passenger list is why, and most are repeat cruisers. The itineraries are also a draw for us as they go ports the big ships can't. We have taken lots of friends and they now are total fans.
