We have traveled HAL on many cruises, however, never like this one. We had a Balcony Room next to three teenage girls. They continually threw things over the balcony, used obsenity most of the time, and were not supervised by their parents at all. The only time their father was present he was as loud and obnoxius as the teens were. We reverted to banging on the walls to keep them quiet. Not a good experience for a seasoned traveler.

Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed Tracy Arm and Sitka\, AK

Cons: Children and young adults. The ship was overridden with children\, screaming and running all of the time.

Recommends Oosterdam? No.
