Review summary

This ship and crew still holds true to the idea of providing unsurpassed service, surrounded by elegant furnishings and decor. A very large ship, but not so large to where you can not find your bearings. Within a couple hrs I was able to make my way to any part of the ship.

Food and Dining

We chose the later seating time at a larger table. Our dining experience incredible. The food was was served hot and tasted wonderful. If you order a meal that doesnt sit right, they will not hesitate to bring you another meal you DO like!

Entertainment

The magician was awesome, but the young gal running the bingo and dj at Northern Lights must have a relative in a high position with HAL. She needs lots of work and I didn't feel a cruise ship of this magnitude was the place to practice.

Service and Staff

The crew made us feel like they were there just to serve us. Our cabin steward bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. That service unfortunately dropped quit a bit on the last day of the cruise. Guess they had the next cruise on thier minds.

Our suite was clean and larger than on other cruise ships. The beds however were evil. They were so comfortable that taking a power nap was out of the question. Just sitting on it will make you sleepy. I need to buy on of those!!

Pros: The crews dedication to service

Cons: The beds in stateroom (way too comfy)
