The cruise was amazing from start to finish. If you had the proper documentation ready, you had smooth sailing literally! The staff was amazing and everything the ship had to offer was great. We had an amazing time!

Food and Dining

Windjammer was well organized with most foods already plated and ready to go.Plenty of staff walking around cleaning tables that needed to be and plenty of wait staff to take any drink orders or to get anything else you may need,if you choose to use them that way.Main dining staff provided excellent service and the food was hot and delicious.

Main Dining Room

Our wait staff Juan and Valdez, provided us with excellent service and the food was always hot and delicious. There was one meal my wife thought it didn’t taste right and they quickly replaced it with something she enjoyed.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
I did the bumper cars and depending on the night, they played different music. They we’re entertaining and you got approximately 5 min drive time.I did Ripcord which is the skydive simulator and you got approximately 5 min fly time and there is a fee.It was exhilarating to be at sea,yet feel like you were flying. We did the Northstar in port (complimentary)and there is a fee while at sea.If you want to experience the full experience, you need to do it at sea. They take you above the ship and then to the side of the ship, which will give you a perspective like no other.
Sea Spa

We both had two spa treatments…I had a deep massage and my wife a body treatment. We then had a couples massage and later used the thermo spa.The spa was clean and easy to use and the staff was friendly and professional and were quick to show you how to use the spa.
Entertainment

We started the cruise with singer Peter Grant. He was a crooner singer with an amazing voice. Then we saw Stephen Thomas who was a comedian. We thought the show started off slow, but as it got towards the end,was quite funny, but unfortunately for the show, was a bit too late.Royals show onboard was Showgirls:Past,Present, and Future. It was an amazing show with some of the best stage costumes I’ve seen on a cruise production. We then saw the Book in Two70,starring the cast of the ship.It starts slow, but then hold on,it’s action everywhere. So,much so that I didn’t know where or what to watch. It was top notch!Royal brought on a tap group called Tap Factory and they were amusing and entertaining.A little odd at first, but it was part of the show, with comedy and tap dancing with a touch of breakdancing.High energy entertainment. The last show we saw was also a Royal production called the Effectors. It was based on super heroes coming to save the day with sing and dance. The special effects of this production was something that I haven’t seen before on a ship production. It was very well done and thought out.
Service and Staff

Our main dining staff of Juan and Valdez were amazing and efficient. They were friendly and courteous and professional.Mohammad was our steward and he was spot on.Our cabin was clean and neat and if there was anything we needed (like beach towels we forgot to order) he was there to save the day.
Ship Quality

The ship was relatively easy to get around. The North Star design was a neat feature. The crew did an amazing job keeping the ship in ship shape. They were always cleaning,no matter what time of day or what the area was, they were cleaning.Job well done by all the crew…even the ones we don’t usually see.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had a jr suite and were pleased with the size and setup. There was plenty of storage for both myself and my wife…and our luggage. The bathroom setup was different, with the shower, tub and sink in one room and the toilet and sink in another with a night light…but it worked well. The auto curtains, lights and temp was nice.Balcony was of a nice size, with some comfy seating. The beds were nice and comfortable and we both got plenty of sleep. The cabin was well kept by our steward.
Ship tip
We were on deck six starboard more towards the aft.If you took elevator up on port side, you needed to walk up to seven and back down to get to starboard side, since there was no pass through.
Thank you for the wonderful review! Very nice that you enjoyed the cruise and shared your great experience. We are booked for February 2023. Seems so far away but we are already excited. Thank you!🛳⚓️🏝⛱
I almost forgot that we did Coco Cay and had a great time on the beach. The staff was friendly and polite.Amenities weren’t too far from where we were sitting and it was quiet with the occasional melodies coming from the bar across the lagoon.
