Review summary

The ship is absolutely beautiful. I wouldn't change the ship at all. The food was very limited choice in the buffet. The mdr food was good but vegetarian choice was dreadful. The staff were very polite and attentive. The entertainment was none existent. The comedian was good but stayed on for a full wk, so we saw him 3 times. The same with magician. The singers were awful. The headliners mediocre. The music around the pool was 1 CD of 80s music playing over and over again! Come on P&O you need to up your game. We did enjoy our cruise as the itinerary was fantastic. The weather knick out and ship itself wonderful. Just the entertainment and lack of food choices let things down.

(To see before you sail I mean - not in the Horizon that arrives in your cabin whilst you're out at dinner forcing you to read it when you really want to be getting ready for bed)

I agree with you. Evening entertainment wasn't worth staying up for and the buffet wasn't appetising but she is a lovely ship. We always had nice dinners in the MDR. I'd like P&O to improve the availability of information. People shouldn't have to be asking about formal nights and guessing at probable port times. Just put it in the cruise planner and save the angst.
