If you have a chance to go on an Oasis class ship, do it. It is large and there are a lot of people, but I never felt it was too crowded. We tend to eat and do activities in more "Off" times than most people.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The MDR was wonderful with great service for my time dining. 150 Central Park was delicious and the service was excellent. The buffet was good, lots of food choices and if it was crowded there are many other places we could go to instead. I loved the BBQ and mexican choices. Didnt get to eat at Playmakers but was there in the evenings to have a drink and play pool.

Lots of fun....Bellyflop competetion was hilarious. We played pickle ball, did zumba class, went to the gym in the mornings, played put-put, did the flowrider and the water slides....all wonderful!

Malbin in the Promenade cafe and Ann our room steward were both top notch. I really liked the team in the dining room as well. Service was wonderful.
Ship Quality

It is the Oasis of the seas.....nothing else compares!! It was my first time on an Oasis class ship and I loved it. We are very active cruisers so we were kept busy. It was VERY clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Seemed smaller than the other balcony cabins I have been in by a hair....not uncomfortable, good storage. The balcony was very large and had a nice tall table and 2 chairs. Great for a light breakfast.
Ship tip
Get to know the ship before you go and it will be easier to navigate
I liked the location, the water was beautiful. However, the restaurant gave us a menu that was priced in Pesos and we asked the conversion. We ordered then when the bill came it was $40 higher than it should have been. The waiter and bartender said the cruise passengers got charged more than the locals....we had been given the locals menu. What crooks. Be very aware. That was at the Blue Kay Mahaual, but I think this is a common theme there. We did an ATV & Beach excursion, I would not do it again.
My husband, my teen son, and I hated every minute on Oasis of the Seas. It was so overly crowded..trying to do any of the special features was just too difficult. People touching the food in the Lido restaurant was a super turn off...as was going to a bakery and watching a TV for the life boat drill was a joke.
We love Oasis class ships. They have lots to offer. Glad you had a great time. Thanks for the tip about the bait and switch with the menu, we'll keep that in mind.
