Review summary

Our cruise was amazing and the last cruise with the mask mandates. The staff was amazing! We fell in love with the Central Park aspect of the Oasis Class.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was a breeze! I was worried about the process with showing proof of the vaccine and a negative test, but it was easy. We showed up a little earlier than our check-in time but we were checked in and waited in comfortable chairs in an air conditioned space for 15-20 then called by section to board. Not a complaint to be had!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We ate in the MDR every night and every morning. The dinners were delicious but breakfast left a lot to be desired. The breakfast quality has gone down; for example when I ordered pancake you could tell they were microwaved because they had been over zapped and I couldn’t even cut them. The food elsewhere was delicious, especially the Park Cafe!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The pools were great and they felt so warm! We zip-lined and rode the carousel but didn’t use any other onboard activities.

Entertainment

Our sailing didn’t have much entertainment. We did see the Love & Marriage Show but couldn’t get reservations to the Aquashow.

Children's Programs

We didn’t bring our children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was AH-mazing!!! Our room steward took great care of us and always made sure we had ice in our bucket all day. The waitstaff no matter where we ate was fabulous and did everything they could to ensure we were nothing less than thrilled. Dana at the Trellis Bar was fabulous and knew our names after ordering one drink!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was well cleaned and maintained

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I was shocked by how small the room felt based on other balconies we’ve had on other ships but it was lovely.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Fabulous port to embark/disembark from

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

We did a private tour to Daniel Johnson’s Monkey and Sloth Sanctuary. The experience was great besides being terrified as our tour guide walked us through the streets and to a “parking lot”. But once he assured us that our safety was his job I did feel better. The island is beautiful but desperate for the income that cruise lines bring in. The snorkeling was beautiful and so we’re the sloths!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
We just got off to explore the port. It’d been built up since we had been there 5 years prior. We enjoyed watching the dolphins within the port.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was so quick and easy! They used face recognition and it was all done before I even realized what was happening. We were off the ship and walking to the curb with our luggage in 5 minutes.
