This was my first cruise with Royal. Overall it was a really good experience. Lots of things were similar to my other cruising trips.

The appointment time was fantastic! I was scheduled for 11:30 to 12:00
I was at check in promptly at 11:35. Since I did online check in. They went through everything
Checked my online passport. And my digital seapass
I was on the ship in the Solarium bar by 12:00pm

I had the unlimited dining pkg this week. Loved the choices. The restaurants were great! Service was fantastic. Breakfast, I ate at the Solarium Bistro most mornings. It was fast and easy.
Food was buffet style but mostly made to order with very little wait.
Onboard Activities

The ultimate Abyss was lots of fun. Hardly any lines the Perfect Storm waterslide was lots of fun...even though I exceeded the weight limit. In the immortal words of the attendant. As long as I don't get stuck inside, I'm good...I was good! The other 2 slides were racers. They were cute and I beat an 8 year old girl to the bottom. I'm so proud.

Aqua80 was the best show I've ever seen! Beatlmaniacs was great!! The comedians were fun!

The ships layout is easy to navigate. The crew did a great job cleaning and sanitizing. Thanks for making us feel safe

Nice sized cabin. Nothing too surprising. It was clean. Not a fan of the beds pushed together. The balcony was very spacious for a little cabin. Less impressed with the bathroom. I'm a big guy

The shower is barely big enough to stand in and wash. Don't drop the soap! The water pressure was fantastic!
Ship tip
Don't be intimidated by the size of the ship. I found find anything was simple when you broke the ship into 2 decks
Deck 5 and deck 15 you can access both sets of elevators to any deck. You can go anywhere aft to forward. Once you realize it...its easy peasy
Spent the day at Coco Beach Club. Fantastic experience. The service was excellent. The drinks were plentiful. Lobster was delicious. Only downside. It was a rough sea day and my Jetski excursion was canceled.
This was part 1 of my b2b
My disembarkation was going to the royal theater waiting with 150 other b2b. Then getting off the ship then back on...the wait to get back on was kind of long...about an hour. But still was on the ship 90 min before everyone else.
