Review summary

Had a fabulous time on my NCL Sun cruise. The customer service was so amazing throughout the trip that the Sun is my new favorite NCL ship. I always liked the Sun though. I had a wonderful balcony room 8046 which was spacious and had plenty of storage space. The first night I went to the welcome show, which I enjoyed more than I expected. Our ports were Key West, Freeport - Grand Bahama Island, and Nassau. I love Key West and opted for a glass bottom boat tour. It was a nice ride and very informative. The staff provided reef-safe sunscreen and was extremely eco-conscious which I loved. At Freeport I went shopping in the morning in the pouring rain and headed over to an all inclusive spot on Taino Beach. It was ok but I wouldn’t do it again unless I take up drinking as a competitive sport. I stayed on the ship in Nassau after a very, very long night in the casino. Plus I have been there before. I had a few spa treatments which were incredible and took advantage of some of the specials (day one and port day). I visited the MDRs and specialty restaurants Moderno and Le Bistro, which is my fave. Casino staff and all staff on board were fabulous. I managed to win the slot tournament on the final day. It was nice to walk away with cash for once. I’m happy to answer any questions. This was my fourth trip on the Sun and loved it!

Glad to read you had fun and that it became one of your favorite. I too had the tie of my life on that ship twice. I am watch for a sale on that ship so I can jump back on it.

queenb702 5 days ago Newbie. 1st cruise is in January as family however I'm already thinking to do a solo cruise. Does this ship accommodate for that? Plz and thx! You may want to look at one of the larger ships in Miami they have solo rooms and activities for singles. on a smaller ship you will have to pay double occupancy and less to do for you.
