Panama Canal was great

going through the Panama Canal was the reason we took the cruise and we were not disappointed. It was the highlight of the cruise. Another surprise was the entertainment in the main showroom.  They had something every night and most of the acts were very good. Most of the cruises we have taken only do not have entertainment every night in the main showroom. The food in main dining was petty good but they could better.  Ports of call.

Cartagena, Colombia  Took the fort and city tour. it was interesting.

Puntarenas, Costa Rica  Took a private tour of the rain forest, etc. was very good.

Huatulco, Mexico  Not a lot to do here. Took the river rafting tour. It was ok but the water level was too low.

Acapulco, Mexico  Took a private tour of the city and the cliff divers. It was quite good. The fort is across the street from from the ship.so we walked over to it and went through on our own.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico There is a lot to do here. We took a private sail boat tour that was very good.

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California Since the ship comes here only two times a year, the ship offered only a few tours that looked pretty bad. The battleship Iowa is docked near the ship and you can tour it on your own. Since we have been to LA many times, we got a car and when to the Getty which was very good.

San Francisco, California To see the city, you can do it on your own. We walked to Fisherman Wharf and along the coast. If you have not seen Alcatraz, it is a must see. The tour boats are a short walk from the ship

Victoria, British Columbia Must ses the Butchart Gardens. Walk from the ship to downtown and pick up a tour. Had high tea at the Empress hotel that was very good but pricey.

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia Been here before so just wanted to go to the Airport. If you need to get to the Airport take the Skytrain (Canda Line subway). It is 3 blocks form the cruise terminal and cost $4.00 CAD and takes about 25 mins.
