Review summary

Small condensed ship, but had of the amenities needed for this itinerary which caters more to adult travelers due to the ports of call.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Buffet was limited, but the "free" restaurants had different menus every day, as well as the same old favorites, so we had a choice. Room service breakfast was good, but limited to continental, which is all we wanted. Could always find food to eat. After hours service charge for room service is a joke!

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Some stage entertainment not up to Norwegian standards. Magician was horrible. Too much entertainment by ship entertainers, not enough variety. We had seen some of the productions on other Norwegian cruises. What a disappointment. This was actually the worst part of this trip.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff did everything we asked and more.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Seemed to be too much maintenance going on while we were cruising. Elevators were being worked on, couls not go out on the fore deck because tar was leaking onto people so that was closed for two days.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Good size, good set up once we put our beds against the two walls and left a pathway straight from our door to the balcony. We do that on every trip.

Pros: Varity of meals in dining rooms, friendliness nad helpfulness of staff, especially Jamie

Cons: Not enough time in each port, depressing Berlin excursions, poor timing for a visit to the Hermitage
