Review summary

We went on this cruise for the itinerary and it didn’t disappoint some fabulous places the ship is a bit disappointing but all ships are since COVID because they have cut the staff & the services they offer.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Worked really well and on the ship quickly

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food in the main dining rooms is very good when you can get it. Service is very slow & dinner could take 3 hours. The buffet was far too small for the size of ship & the amount of people very poor choice of food. O’ Sheehan’s was the best place for service & food

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
We had many days at sea & not much daytime activities such as quizzes only one in the morning. The gym was a bit small & the classes are not advertised

Entertainment

4 out of 5

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff all work really hard to make your cruise enjoyable & they have to put up with so many different languages & different requests

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
This ship doesn’t have a vista lounge so there is nowhere to sit on cold sea days if you can’t sit outside most people sit on the window seats it is a bad design

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
This was small & has a porthole the bathroom is very small the shower is a good size but you cannot dry yourself in the space

Ship tip

This is a small ship with not much entertainment

Ports of call

Port Stanley, Falkland Islands

5 out of 5
We booked our tour in the UK before we left much much cheaper than the ship. You need to decide if you want to see penguins or do the battlefields very bleak & full of sheep but a great experience

Puerto Madryn, Argentina

5 out of 5
You must do the national park but book your trip privately not from the ship we paid $ 100 per person as opposed to $379 pp it’s worth the long journey

Buenos Aires, Argentina

4 out of 5
Be careful in BA don’t wear any expensive jewellery or watch my husband nearly had his gold chain stolen my a passing moped rider

Ushuaia, Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina

5 out of 5
This is a lovely little town we did the bus tour in the morning & the prisoner train in the afternoon well worth it

Montevideo, Uruguay

5 out of 5
This is a lovely town with great markets & beach
