The crew seemed to go out of their way to please you. We met the Cruise director and the staff multiple times.

The normal restaurants and 24hr restaurant were good, we didn't use the buffet often. Carney's steakhouse was worth the price, leBistro was good but price should have been lower. WE heard the Italian wasn't that good and we never saw the Chienese restaurant busy. Lower prices would help that out.

We are Cruise Critic members and they had a private party for us, introduced us to the main members of the crew and hotel stall, and the Captain came gave a little welcome speech and okayed a bridge tour for our last sea day. That was very informative.

Pros: The Norwegian Star experience was better than our last Norwegian cruise

Cons: The weather could have been better
