Review summary

We were very disappointed with this ship. The room was smaller than on other ships weve been on, but was adequate for two people, but no more. The stateroom bathrooms and balconies are in desperate need of updating. The tile/grout in the shower is old and dirty/moldy. The hairdryer is so outdated and there is nowhere you can plug in your own hairdryer. After the first couple days, we could never get hot water in our shower. Our balcony was dirty and rusty. The windows across the balcony were never clean. It was not enjoyable at all to sit out on the balcony to enjoy the views. The dcor of the ship seemed odd - a mix of Asian and Roman, but the main part of the ship was clean and nice. The itinerary was definitely the up-side to this ship!

The food in the buffet was okay. We were disappointed in the food in the dining rooms. There was not enough variety and changes throughout the week. On a 12-day cruise\, we got tired of eating the same thing over and over. There was nothing special about the food\, as one expects on a cruise. We generally only had one server on our table (taking orders\, delivering drinks and food items\, clearing the table\, etc.)\, which made for a very slow dinner process. We had to be in the dining room before 7 p.m. in order to get to the 9:30 p.m. show. The servers often lacked knowledge about specific dishes and we would end up with something we did not want. We hope this is not their way of encouraging passengers to go to their specialty restaurants and spend more money.
