Review summary

The ship was ok, not the best NCL liner we have sailed on.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Should not be charged a fee to eat in any of the cruise restaurants. Would prefer assigned table and time, free-style dining isn't the way to go. Should have a better selection for 'midnight' snacks and soda pop should be free like coffee, ice tea, etc.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Not enough things to do on sail days - no movie theater on ship.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
The staff was not friendly and most were not willing to help when asked.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was ok, not one to brag about.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
There were three adults in the cabin, two elderly parents in their 70's and a daughter, age 50. The cabin was small and had two lower twin beds and one bunk bed. Now, people middle age and older should not have to climb up in a bunk bed, especially people with arthritis and bad knees. Complaints didn't help, the staff just ignored the whole situation. Asked for a window room, we ended up on the bottom floor with a port hole window. The bathroom was way too small, as was the whole room.

Pros: The excursions we took

Cons: Cabin, Staff, Food

Recommends Norwegian Spirit? No.
