I will say this was a rotten time of year to plan a trip. We had nothing but rain and wind except for about 8 hours. That did not stop the fun! We had an amazing concierge that was always ready to do what needed to be done to get us reservations. We had our day on the private island cancel because of wind and then our private charter fishing/snorkeling trip because of rough seas. So we did the swim with the dolphins. 

We had an after penthouse suite and I highly recommend this upgrade. We had a huge balcony and our room was incredible. Our butler made sure we always had what we requested and we were so far from the elevators that we had no noise. 

Now there were 2 downsides... its an older ship and there was some smell. Pretty terrible right after we set sail but it cleared up quickly and then the bathrooms had some slight smell buy the poo-pouri stuff you can buy online fixes it. The other one is not a downside unless your traveling with kids. This is NOT THE SHIP FOR THEM. It's free booze for a reason and I saw some things I can't unsee because that type of atmosphere lowers how people dress (or raises it, however you choose to look at it). 

The entire crew had a wonderful attitude and even though the ship rocked and swayed and the unprepared became ill... they laughed and joked and told stories of other ships and rough sees and so on. This was our first cruise and we have already taken a second (2 weeks after this one) and for the kidless or parents that need a short get away this one was great. 

The crew and support staff made my wife snd I feel like we were the King and Queen. We had plenty of stuff to do. Nassau was a blast. Tons of shopping and the people were very helpful. The spa was amazing. We had a couples Swedish massage and it was amazing.  But what made the cruise was the crew on the ship. From the Captain to the room attendants they all made sure that we had a wonderful experience 

My favorite part of the cruise was open bar, the pool, the specialty restaurants, the cruise director & I don't know his name but the cruise director who did Bingo.  We only went the last night, he was so much fun. 

What I didn't like was everything fun was packed in from 6:15 to 7:45. It would have been nice to have a day at sea so there would be more time for Bingo, Deal or No Deal, slot tournaments.  

Every employee on the ship was so nice & helpful.  The only problem I had was when we were in line to get our ship expense card I asked the gentlemen why he was directing some people to a very short line, he became quite upset & just said status.  He could have explained what status.  All & all we enjoyed the cruise very much

This was my 4th time cruising with NCL and the second time on the Sky. I purchased this trip for the all inclusive drinks but soon found out that in order to recoup this the $20/per meal for the specialty dining areas are now a la carte and not inexpensive. What I spent in dining I could have paid for a drink package. Dining packages were 'offered' in my NCL messaging account but no mention of this dining change was mentioned or explained. Just a FYI for those who aren't aware of these changes.

Favorite part was private island 

I would change where the bars are open for frozen drinks. I went to a few bars where no frozen drinks were not available. 

I would not let anyone go on this cruise mainly our bank cards was held an extra 600 dollars which we are still waiting to get back into our account

Cruise was great,we were here with some friends and we all had a great time  the food was good the staff was wonderfull , good entertainment we will definitely  return

My favorite part of the cruise was looking forward to the daily activites. The decorations in the room, the photos were old compared to the carpet and curtains.

We had a blast on this cruise! There was so much to do & not enough time to fit it all in. The open bar was fantastic, on board activites were fun, the staff was very friendly, & the islands were amazing! I would do it again in a heart beat! Best vacation I've ever had!

My favorite part of the cruiseline was all the activities they had throughout the trip, if you didn't go into port you had plenty to do on the ship! So I will remember that for next time. 

A couple things I think that needed improvement were customer service. At the guest services desk they weren't very helpful. At the beginning of the cruise we were told that we would have $25 to spend on the cruise... we didn't ever receive that money--and he didn't seem to care or attempt to rectify the situation. 

Another thing, on the last night of the cruise there was literally nothing going on... it was a bummer I had hoped they'd through a big bash or something, but it was the most boring night on the trip. 

All-in-all: The staff was nice, always greeted by anyone you walked past. Ship was always clean! Which surprises me, and shows you how hard the staff works! The all inclusive package is fantastic! It is just something you have to experience or attempt to have on every cruise! It saves so much money! I had an amazing first cruise to the Bahamas with Norwegian and I will definitely book them again ! 

If you are looking to relax and reconnect with your loved ones I highly recommend this cruise! If you want to do nothing but eat, sleep, and sun yourself... you are in luck. There is no schedule. If you like to stay busy there are countless excursions available. 

For me, a chronic pain patient, the warm sun and climate was a welcome change to my painful joints. My pain level was greatly reduced while on the cruise allowing me to increase my activity! My husband and I can't wait to cruise again!

The complimentary cocktails made an affordable trip. I love the entertainment, but I would prefer it they start at 8:30 versus 9:30.  I enjoyed the 3 day idea: have a little fun and go home.  Good job!

Generally speaking, this was a great cruise ( first one ).

Food, entertainment, activities were all great!

However, photographers on board were a little pushy; everywhere you went, there they were ! no issues with them taking pictures, but is it necessary to charge an exorbitant price for these pictures ? I mean, $10 U.S. for a 5 x 7 and $20 U.S. for a 8 x 10 is a little pricey for me, and, I suspect, for most passengers.

Also, I found it odd that you could get top-shelf liquor and, yet, you had to pay $5.50 U.S. for a 1L bottle of water; I suggest that Norwegian re-think this silly policy.

This is a fun cruise and really getting on and off the ship or to one of the islands was quite simple. People were friendly as were the staff. I liked the freestyle dining but the only thing I would say and the only reason I didn't give this cruise a 5th star is because of the inconsistent food. Sometimes it tasted great, sometimes not so great, sometimes it was hot, sometimes warm. Other than that...Good stuff! 

Great Service, friendly staff. Waiter Dennis Paragas, is awesome! remembered all 6 names in our group, helped us and greet us everywhere he was on duty. Mia at guest services also very nice, friendly and attend to us. Mrs. Sol Rillo, guest service supervisor is exceptional. Did helped me the first nights with giving information of designated place where I could smoke, did inform about names of bands I liked so we could follow during nightly activities and surprised us with an amenity in room. This absolutely made our first time on Norwegian Sky memorable. I did not see the name of the waiter ( Chinese girl- short haired)  in " Dazzels" but also remember my preferred drink and most of all that I liked it in a glass!! and not a plastic cup. Last but not least our  cabin maid who kept our cabin clean even when we did not asked for service, she passed by to check if we need anything in the cabin. These small attention and service to a guest will absolutely make your trip memorable and let you choose the same Cruise Line for your next cruise trip.

This 4- night Miami RT cruise to the Bahamas had good itinerary with 3 stops (Freeport, Nassau, and Great Stirup Cay). In Freeport and Nassau we hired a taxi driver to show us the major historical and tourist sights so my travel photographer husband could get photos for his website. Freeport appears more run down, although efforts are being made to  improve it. Nassau is the lively port, especially when you include the Atlantis Resort in the mix. Many tourists take part in active water adventures of which there are many. Great Stirrup Cay was a relaxing day to snorkel, walk and enjoy the beach.

All ages were on board the ship, although I think many were enticed by the drinks included. The ship is older in style but has been well maintained. Our balcony room was smaller than on other ships, but we weren't in the room for extended periods, so it worked out okay. There's plenty of storage for people who tend to over pack.

Food on board was served hot and there were always many selections. We enjoyed the 2 complimentary main restaurants plus one night we ate at Cagney;s Steakhouse which now has an a-la-cart menu. For breakfast we ate at the buffet as well as the omelette/waffle station next door.

We didn't take part in ship activities / entertainment so I can't comment on that.

Overall, a good short cruise right after Thanksgiving.

The ship was a older ship small, but was clean, food was good, good service from the staff, the open bar was great the shows were nice, we had a good time but will not go back on this ship, as cabins were super small and bathroom even smaller.

I really liked everything, special because this was a "freestyle" type of cruise.... one of the best parts about the freestyle was that we did not have to follow an schedule for the dinners in the more sophisticated restaurants.

The food was good too and I was able to accommodate my allergy to gluten with food and drinks. :)

The crew was really helpful and friendly.

The only sad part was that we were not able to visit their private island in the Bahamas because of the weather. :(

For a short sail to the Bahamas this cruise was enjoyable.  The food was excellent, especially in the restaurants (although not so much in the buffets) and the fact that drinks were included made it affordable to enjoy a nice glass of wine with any meal or even as a stand-alone in the late evening.  There was entertainment for most age groups but it would have been nice .to see something more for the older folks.  Also not so enjoyable was how overrun the cruise was with "spring-breakers".  I never got a chance to enjoy a dip in the pool because it was always covered with scantily dressed young adults.  Not very appealing!

I didn't make it to private island due to weather , but a lot of guest stated they been on this cruise a few times and never make to the stirrup cay . price line mix up my birthday with another guest in my party , and we only got 25.00 on board credit . it was a lot of information missed for 1st time cruisers ....
