My husband and I had never been on a cruise before. We decided to look for a vacation to somewhere warm in February. We opted for the 4 night Bahamas cruise to try it out. We had the best vacation that we have had in a very long time. The food was great, the drinks were perfect and the staff and entertainment was great. We figured with the drinks being included that they would be weak or watered down, NOPE, they were perfect. I would recommend this cruise to anyone. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for such an amazing vacation Norwegian. We will cruise with you again.

Great trip, beautiful beaches.  Private island is not to be missed.  Also on the Nassau stop we opted to not go Atlantis and we went to the small island off the coast ...started with the letter "B" can't remember it now!  But it quiet and beautiful, nice lounge chairs with umbrellas and a nice boat ride to the island.  We always found something good to Eat on the ship at night at the sit down restaurants as well as for lunch and breakfast at the buffet.  The boat is definitely older, smaller...not a lot of bells and whistles but you certainly cannot beat what you get for the price.  Room was VERY tight with an interior room with a king bed...but who cares!!!  If you want a luxurious room and a luxurious boat this is not for you!  But if you want a great quick trip and aren't too concerned about the finishes this is a great option.  All inclusive was great...great drinks.  High end liquor always available and freely poured.  Keep in mind with the all inclusive there will b drunks!!!  The pool is small and the hot tubs are smaller so if you plan to stay on the ship during the day "the drunks" are pretty unavoidable!  However it makes for super great people watching!!!  Iif you get off everyday like we did...it's a great trip.  

Spent extra on the balcony room, yet treated like we hadn't paid anything to get on the boat. Boat left the doc late, cancelling several activities, but no apology at all. All inclusive not worth it. 

I've been on at least 8 other cruises (one specific cruise line) and I have to admit, I'll probably never use anything BUT Norwegian Cruise Lines!!  The Norwegian Sky was extremely clean and adult friendly.  We did the all-inclusive package and will be booking another cruise in the very near future. 

Staff members were extremely friendly and welcoming.  While we did not do the food/dinner package (or whatever it is called), we still had delicious food.  Entertainment was great as well.  There were more than enough bars and bartenders to accommodate the passengers.  We never had to wait in line for a drink!

Our visit to Great Stirrup Cay was phenomenal!!  Quite honestly, I would have loved to have stayed there for the two days rather than venturing to the other port.   The private island was exceptionally clean.  Multiple bars were close to the beach so we never really had to wait in line for a beverage.

Overall, we had an remarkable time and would highly recommend this cruise to everyone.  If you book, I promise you will not be disappointed!  It's well worth every penny!

Dale made special decoration for my birthday in state room 8008. He made my wife and me so happy to celebrate my birthday. He is totally awesome. It would be nice if also show some celebration token for anniversary in other form. I highly recommend this affordable cruise because the food is great, choice of beached are absolutely beautiful. Make my wife and I build wonderful memory.

liked the free style and the the all inclusive style. Our room was nice and clean and there was always something going on. 

This was my 3rd cruise and had its pros and cons.  First, I loved that it was All-Inclusive.  But if you are at the pool waiting for a server forget it.  Easier to just run to the bar.  Food was good and drinks were very good.  Activities at the pool were fun.  The comedian was very funny.  One of our stops was Freeport, Bahamas.  Let me tell you, there is zero things to do in Freeport.  Do not waste your time getting off at this stop.  Great Stirrup Cay was very nice.  The Norwegian Sky is a very small ship.  We had a nice small suite with a balcony where I caught some beautiful sunrises and sunsets.  The crew was attentive.  The casino was very small as well.  If you are a black jack player, note that black jack does not pay 1.5 odds.  So, I liked it and had fun but would not do it again.  I prefer other ships and vacation spots.

It's a fantastic experience.  I've never been on a cruise that offers free drinks which the Sky offers.    

Food in the formal dining need to be fresher and better cooked.   Overall I have had a great experience.

We really enjoyed the food in the main dining rooms, though it was always served warm (not hot). The shows were okay, but we enjoyed the game shows more. Free drinks was a bonus - we're not heavy drinkers but appreciated not having to budget for drinks. 

Loved the entertainment. ...an fun on pool deck...Island was a fun experience. .....But the best time was getting aircondition in our room on last day there...but the worst was  having 2 men workin in  bathroom the last evening right at time to get ready for dinner an I could not get a shower...had to change clothes with my fiance holding a towel up in corner of room..an go to dinner without showering. ...I was not happy. ...

The best part of the cruise was the stop on their private island--Stirrup Cay--and the waiter we had in the dining room ... we requested him for our second visit.

The rest of the cruise was pretty bad. Found out that the ship had just come out of dry dock and they were working through the kinks. They had to test the side thrusters once we got into the ocean ... which was okay. The REALLY BAD part was that almost all public areas--including our balcony--smelled like a septic field or port-a-potty. The water in our cabin smelled like old pipes...but did get better by day 4.  Talked to Guest Services on the last day because I did not want to leave without expressing our concerns. They acknowledged that there had been issues but they they work working through them. I don't expect to pay for the cruise line to "work through" issues.  Amazing that they closed parts of the pool deck daily to work on things .... hmmm, just out of dry dock!!

The cruise staff was not what we would call up to par based on our previous experiences. On deck they would take a drink order and then not come back; they would look at dirty dishes on a table and walk by. 

Food was ordinary and drinks were not good. I had to have a gin and tonic made three times to taste any gin and I watched them pour it out of the bottle which really concerned me.  Bottled beer was fine ;-).

The best port of call was the Norwegian private island! The crew aboard was great and the entertainment wonderful!! The resteraunts were top notch and we enjoyed every meal.

"It's the Sky after all" proclaimed a gentleman on the beach that professed to have been on a Norwegian cruise every month from September of 2016 - to the end of January 2017. That statement ended the conversation.  How much did you pay for the cruise? Was all the food lodging and booze tossed in?  4 days for 179 US$.  I guess I had expectations that the staff would know where deck 6A was. 5 of them got it wrong on my first hours aboard the ship.  Asking for a spare pillow took two days to get and 4 requests.  Asking for distilled water for my CPAP machine was met with why didn't you ask for it when you booked? I did.  I guess it's a learning ship or a place for those who are not moving up in the ranks. OK so I've complained about a couple of the bad things. Now the good. It was fun. You are on a very inexpensive cruise. The food was a 4 out of 5 not great but not bad either. The entertainment was good. Philly Joel and his staff keeps you laughing, singing, dancing and generally having fun. Freeport tour around the botanical gardens was wonderful. The beach on the private island was great. The tendering to the shore seemed like it would be awkward at first but it went very well.  Embarking and disembarking was a breeze.  I got home tired, smiling and overall happy with the value from the Sky. No one should complain about the service for the price we paid. Remember  what Roberto said. It's the Sky after all. Do not judge Norwegian by the Sky this is the bottom. If this was the bottom then it was a pretty good vacation.

I've cruised about ten times so far and really like Norwegian.  My sister chose this itinerary because every day was in port, and they don't care for the "days at sea".  A big plus was the all-inclusive bar.  We never waited for a drink, there were plenty of staff if you went to the bar (it was harder to catch a waiter poolside, but the bar was close enough that it wasn't an issue).  The food was good (not great) in the main dining rooms. I wasn't sure what I would think about the smaller ship (capacity was about 2000, compared to Getaway which is closer to 4,000) and the ship is older.  No soaring atriums, not a lot of bells and whistles, but for the price and the itinerary, it was certainly acceptable.  I had a spa package and my tech (Venus) was very good, however, the treatment room was extremely noisy and that took away from the experience.  Then at the end, the up-sell of products comes, but she was very gracious and didn't push.  I was afraid of an 'open-bar' cruise being a bunch of drunks but it really wasn't too bad.  You get that 'wasted away' element on any cruise.  At times, it felt like a biker bar on water, but most times, it really was a nice cruise.  The staff couldn't be nicer.  Freeport is an awful stop.  It needs to be removed from all itineraries as it's just a wasted day.  I'm happy to hear that Great Stirrup Cay is getting a full makeover as it's needed.  Nassau is Nassau.  We did a day trip to Breezes which wasn't worth the money when the food and the open bar back on ship are better.  Breezes' pools were dirty and the food was terrible.  Their beach was nice and we did kayak, however, no stand-up paddle boards were offered, even though they are shown in the brochure.  The cab driver there ripped us off - we had read that it was a $15 ride, plus $3 for each additional passenger ($21 total) - he charged us $25 plus the extra $3 per person.  The valet at Breezes told us the correct info and made sure our driver didn't overcharge us on the way back to port.  All in all, Norwegian does what they do best - they offer a great value with a great staff.  They'll always be my go-to cruise line.

Great cruise, I would recommend it to anyone. The staff was great and very helpful. The food was excellent, the bars had everything you would want and with all the booze being free made it all the much better. Freeport was alright but a hurricane had came through recently so it was a little torn up. Stir Island was off the chart incredible & Nassau was our least favorite, it was kind of dirty.

This was the best cruise!!! They have great dining selection. We really enjoyed the freestyle cruising. It made a trip much more relaxed and we were able to come and go as we pleased. The unlimited drink package was also a huge plus!!! We also enjoyed being at a different port each day and then enjoying the ship activities every night. 

very friendly team, nice meal, good service, everybody make you feel important. The water in the pools was too cold to enjoy and the garden café was closed before the end of the cruise (that was our favorite place)

Make it more affordable for "Single Older women " and I would definitely book it again especially in the winter months >> I was lucky to have a balcony cabin and that is definitely the way I will always Go on this type of trip..

I went on the cruise to celebrate my birthday and I had a great time. I met really nice people and the crew was pleasant and professional. Miller, my porter was so nice!  I was even upgraded to an oceanview room. Thanks to Terri my agent. I will definitely be using again..

getting on and off the boat was easier than i thought it would be.Their help were so friendly and always had a hello  and how are you.T he food in the sit down restaurants was always good and they had  a great selection on their menu.The entertainment was really good and some of their game shows left me in stitches. I would highly recommend this ship and their crew to anyone and hope to do it again next year.
