We throughly enjoyed our cruise aboard the Norwegian Sky. We were very apprehensive because of some of the reviews we read regarding the size and overall condition of the ship. This was our twelfth cruise, but our first on Norwegian and we found the ship, stateroom and food to be very good. The longer we were on the ship, the more we became frustrated with some of the reviews that were posted, as I am sure others were reconsidering a cruise aboard the Sky.

It was perfect for our bachelorette party! All of the girls had a ton of fun!

Having been on the Sky many times, I return 3-4 times yearly for additional pleasure.

We met so many great people on the ship, everyone was happy because everything was so beat on the ship, the food, customer service and activities. Can't wait to cruise with Norwegian again!

We have traveled on Norwegian twice before & loved it. This time it was very bad. The Thanksgiving dinner was a disaster—turkey roll, are you kidding me? No cranberry sauce, the desserts were very, very sad. What had happened to your cruise line??

Very happy with this cruise overall, but WiFi could have been better. I purchased pkg to include streaming and was unable to stream Netflix. Very disappointed that WiFi session ended 9-10 hrs before cruise ended! Pretty steep price for quality and duration.

I took my first cruise a few weeks ago on the Norwegian Sky out of Miami, Florida. My niece chose this cruise for her birthday and she liked that this cruise, even though it was only 3-days, had two stops along the way, Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau, Bahamas. And the alcohol was included in the price which was amazing. We were on the 10th floor and our stateroom was big enough for two twin beds a small couch and a desk. The restroom was pretty tiny too with the smallest shower I've ever seen LOL. But we were not in the room that much so the room size didn't bother me. There were several buffet type restaurants and two sit down restaurants which were all included in the price. There was a steakhouse and a sushi restaurant that were ala carte which we did not try. The sit-down restaurant served our favorite meals. One evening I had a lamb shank and it was amazing! There was so much to do on board. As we left the port in Miami there was a big party on the pool deck for our departure. One night there was an all white party. Check the newsletter they provide each day so you're aware of all the activities. We went to the nightclub every night which had a great DJ and we danced the night away. Another evening we checked out a comedian who was hilarious. They do get you with the internet charge. We chose one of the cheaper plans which allowed us to view and upload to major social media sites. We shared one plan so it helps save a little bit. But know that if you share only one person can be logged in at a time. Also be aware of the $19.99 daily service fee they will automatically charge to the credit card you give them at check in. In order to buy anything on board you must give them a credit card at check-in and you simply use your room key card to make purchases throughout the ship. I brought cash and tipped the bartenders and restaurant service personnel on my own. The last day I was able to go to the customer service counter and filled out a form and had them remove the $60 charges from my credit card. I really enjoyed my first cruise. The ship staff were great and the entertainment staff were very energetic. I would most definitely cruise with Norwegian again!

My first Solo Cruise & what a wonderful experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful, food great, and drinks aplenty! My room, ocean view #8243, was absolutely perfect - no outside noises with a great location. What wonderful memories!

My sister and I returned on 7/27 from Norwegian Sky. Everything was perfect. The food is awesome and the staff is helpful. However, this ship needs another pool and more hot tubs because the one available is super crowded for so many people. Besides that, everything else was smoothe sailing!!!! We loved it!!!! It’s worth every penny!

Great for partying.. I have been on this ship 3 times and had a blast. No complaints. Great entertainment. Unlimited Drinks 4 thumbs up in my book....

Completely incredible as my first cruise. The service was incredible and too notch especially in the restaurants and at the bars. Everyone working on the ship was extremely friendly too!

Older ship, but kept very clean and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Very accommodating to food allergies and dietary restrictions - I was very impressed. Be aware, the boat can get very cold from the AC! Bring a sweater and/or jacket! Will book with Norwegian in the future.

This was a great weekend cruise - probably not best suited for children as there was a lot of drinking going on - but we really enjoyed our weekend on the Sky

Overall the ship was clean , the crew were helpful . However the rooms are incredibly small . They are outdated but clean . I felt the balcony room ( they say holds 3) is much too small for 3 adults or even 2 adults & a teen , the pull out sofa only fits a small child .

Fun cruise, we went right after Hurricane Irma. We were worried about the conditions in Cuba. Everything was clean. We didn't see much damage. The food and drinks on the Sky were good. Love traveling with NCL.

Tip: When eating breakfast at the main buffet, walk out to the covered outside eating area, and turn right. You'll see two additional buffets serving basically the same thing. Go to the one on the far right for no waiting. If the outside deck is too hot go into the Longboard, which is at the far right of the dining area, you'll get the same sunrise or sunset view with air conditioning. It's also a sport bar, so you'll be able to watch American football and real football. Must see: Jammrock is the best music on the ship. You can normally find them stuck in the Atrium bar which is a shame because its not much room to dance. Be sure to catch them especially on Bob Marley tribute night. Bonus tip: the shortest distance from one end of the ship to the other is on deck 11 or 12. Lastly: if you stay near the Atrium be aware that the Casio allows smoking when operating. It is not enclosed so you may smell smoke.

This was a girls getaway with my friend. We have cruised together with our families before. It was a great trip. Touch and go with the Hurricanes but we were provided daily updates and had no doubts that everything was good to go when our trip was set. Norweigien did a great job with service and cleanliness. I will definitely put them on the top of my list when planning for next trip.

We really did enjoy myself. It was something for everybody. And if you didn't want to do anything you can just lay back under the sun. When it's a open bar it's an open bar drink all you want and eat all you want all day long
