Review summary

We took this cruise 5 years ago to Bahamas would never cruise them again. The staff were rude and it was our 5 year anniversary. Then made us never want to cruise again. This year our 10 year and we decided to try another Cruise but not with Norwegian.

I can't wait to try Norwegian Sky - majority of the reviews have been outstanding. I agree with xpin about Royal Caribbean! That is my cruiseline - but the ship going to Cuba was just too small so I decided to try NCL

Thanks for you opinion but for us NCL sucks no matter what anyone says. Will see how MSC is for our self lines don't make a place bad for us. If lines only complaint sounds like great cruise to us thanks

Well Jaymoney, i will really wish you have more luck at MSC but you probably wont have cos Ive been already twice on Royal Caribean, going now twice on NCL and been one time on MSC and said never again. Its an italian line and I think its a totaly mess. The boat was crowded, you dont have place to eat, to be in the sun, you have long lines for everything.. For me without doubt Royal Caribean is an exelent choice and everything runs perfect. I used NCL to make Hawaii and it was a wonderful experience and at this time as I wanted to go to Cuba I choose NCL Sky between two more trips over MCL Opera. And even those ports that MCL go are interesting but knowing my awerful experience with them i had no doubt choosing Sky. And above all I read comments about those 2 ships and in MCL there are always rhousands of complains and MCL have few and most of comments are great. So I wish you all the luck..

Still $200 in a wallet is yours. Just because you left the wallet on the counter doesn't give them the right to take it. It's not like it was $5 laying there. $200 is substantial. Like I said,I'm totally not defending them.

to us means a lot when you go thru our stuff to steal. This time we sailing MSC see how they are we leave in 9 days

and yes I know the Excursion can be cancelled at any time that's why I said really not their fault weather can cancel anything

wasn't a lot just had cash for island stuff. left wallet cause wasn't going on island that day didn't think people on ship we do that

Oh sorry. You didn't say it was in a wallet just that it was cash left out. That certainly makes a difference that it was a large amount in a wallet.

no one thinks 200 dollars in wallet is a tip and with your stuff and if they did when was asked would have said that not didn't touch it. It wasn't just out

The room steward probably thought it was the tip money since it was left laying. Rooms are not always ready when you board and unfortunately your contract states that ports can be cancelled for any reason without any refund. However there is no reason for rudeness unless you were mean first that is. I would encourage you to do some research before your cruise this time to try and avoid disappointment again. I'm not defending NCL at all. I've never sailed with them but several of the complaints are avoidable. Take excursion confirmations with you, lock up valuables and read the fine print of your contact. Oh and have fun! Who did you decide to sail with?

yeah sorry not all ships just Norwegian Sky we had problem with never been on they other ships. maybe they are better don't know but for us we won't give them another chance. And we not only person have problem with them. There are other bad reviews but I guess out of millions of people doing anything will always be some problems nothing prefect. They talked down to us on our anniversary, forgot stuff we booked and when we told them they were rude.Our room wasn't clean when we got on ship someone forgot to clean ours before ship boarded, we told them took few hours to get down to clean it has they were boarding guess they didn't have time for us. We left money on table in room was gone when we got back and no one knew where it went!!! We didn't think anyone would steal so didn't put it in safe it was our room. Last thing guess wasn't there fault but made cruise even worse we couldn't do the first island because water was bad so small boat couldn't come get us to take us to land, so we had to stay on boat that day. Was only going to 2 island, 3 day so wasn't able to do half stuff we had planned. Called customer service to complain and they didn't do anything all was said was sorry. For first cruise ever was just bad for us.

This in a review from one person for one ship. Do not generalise and reject the whole fleet.

What was so bad? I read very mixed reviews on NCL which makes us hesitant to try them but a review with no details makes it even harder.
