Since this was our first cruise we weren't sure what to expect but we were very happy. It didn't have the elegance of the ships seen on TV but it was very nice. Everything was clean and the crew made sure if you needed anything, anytime, you got it. My husband told our stewardess, Bianca, that I loved the towel animals she made. That evening when we came in, we had an elephant, mouse and bulldog with sunglasses on the bed. My favorite would have to be the monkey hanging from the ceiling! We are already planning another cruise for Alaska with Norwegian!

The buffet was always good! We also ate at Cagney's Steakhouse and it was one of the best steaks ever. Our waiter was fantastic\, too! The only thing I would have to say about times\, etc. is that it would be nice when the buffet is closed to have snacks available somewhere. We went just for some fruit and the buffet was closed so we had to wait for them to open. Everything was great\, even in port at Great Stirrup Cay.

I would like to see more shows earlier in the evening. I liked sitting on the balcony at night so didn't get out much very late. There were some shows I wanted to see but they were later and I didn't go. I guess I'm getting too old for staying out late. We did play bingo but thought it was really expensive. There were different pack prices but for my husband and I to play it was $69 for three games. We played two nights and I won $120. Oh\, I had to dance with Brad to get my money. It was so much fun.

Above and beyond...absolutely! Especially Bianca. There was another crew member that seemed to be able to do everything. His name was Brad and he was a hoot! We took a tour with him of the ship\, played bingo with him and danced with him.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a balcony and were very pleased. I sat on the balcony and just listened to the water. It was so relaxing. The room was small but I think that's to be expected. I was not unhappy.
Pros: I felt like I got to know some of the crew. Our stewardess hugged us when we left!
Cons: Would like to see a few more shows during the early evening. Most were late at night.
