Review summary

Impressed by the cleanliness of the ship, as well as the friendliness and variety of ethnicity of the staff. I liked where my room was, clean, quiet, and roomy & bright hallway.

food could be better. the same food served over and over, especially the dessert. more vegetarians should be offered, and not just salad and cheese. holland america was able to offer a variety of food and dessert. love their food. with this cruise, didn't look forward to food. buffet was bad too.

Entertainment

looks like planning on this area needs to be improved. more activities need to be offered and scheduled at times where people are not on excursions. some were even cancelled. this area needs to be reviewed and improved. boring programs.

Service and Staff

staffs were very friendly and helpful. i have to stress the friendliness. made it more pleasant. it was natural and not forced like the my last cruise with holland america.

like the layout and cleanliness. like how there were lots of chairs and there were wind-blockers. can get the view from outside and not be affected by the cold wind.

stateroom was quite comfortable. like the size and comfort offered. like the location where i was staying at.
