Review summary

This was our first cruise, so we don't have anything to compare it too. It seemed huge to us, but later we saw other cruise ships in port and realized it was one of the smaller ones! The staff was very friendly. Occasionally they were annoyingly so, in terms of excessive joviality, but in general they were great people who obviously love their jobs and interacting with people. Service was excellent, as was the food. We were after a low-key relaxing vacation, and that's what we got, although if we had wanted more activity it was available to us. I really look forward to cruising again.

This cruise has "freestyle dining" with no set times. We enjoyed the regular resturant, the Palace, so much that aside from hitting the buffet when our timing was off, we didn't feel the need to try any other resturants.

Service and Staff

Staff always greeted us and were willing to stop and chat. I had one server who even brought an extra dinner for my stuffed bears who always travel with me!

Ship Quality

Our stateroom was near elevators with easy access to all parts of the ship that we were interested in, so we could enjoy ourselves with minimal walking.

Granted we're not fussy. But we went for the least expensive option and it was nicer and larger than we expected. Again, easy access to wherever on the ship we wanted to go. The room was clean and well maintained, and the shower was roomier than we had been led to expect from a friend of ours.

Pros: The food was wonderful and the staff was really nice

Cons: The music on deck 11 was really loud
