Review summary

I loved the serene little nooks where you could getaway from all the huge crowds. There’s plenty to do on the ship with The Wave, The Rush, The Drop, the go-carts, pools, the pavilion, and the lounges. If you want a club party, there’s two that are filled with dance themes and great vibes-the 80’s dance party and the Studio 54 disco party. Both were so much fun!!take the time to savor the Egg swings with some dessert from the Surfside Cafe. Feel the sun and wind and lull into the calmness of the ocean. You won’t regret it. Indulge yourself with the Haven.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was very organized and smooth. When you arrive at the terminal there are easy to follow directions to follow for security and check in. I had an unopened water bottle and an unopened soda can which I thought I’d have to dispose of. They said it was fine, I didn’t have to remove it from my purse. The checkin was quick, I showed my boarding pass on my phone, presented my passport and they took another photo of me. Then they gave me my room card and off I went! You can get your boarding photo taken right there.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I got to get on the Wave and it was so fast a ride, you really wanna do it a few times!! It’s a good drop at first and it’s so fast!

Infinity Beach

5 out of 5

The infinity pool is so relaxing and cozy! It’s about nice for about 10 people to be in the water comfortably while about 10 more people lounging around on the private deck. It’ll get crowded quick, but try to get there earlier or later in the day/evening. The water may be cooler but the crowds have died down. The sunset view is amazing!

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The DJ was mixing disco for older crowd and then adding in Latin flavors for the younger crowd. If you go there with a themed outfit, even better! They just won’t play just disco, it’ll be whatever dancing gets the crowd moving.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
My cabin steward was Jairo and he was super nice and thorough. I had stayed into my cabin the first night and he came to check on me, and brought me a little agent gift along with the next day’s activities. Another time I noticed my fridge seemed a bit warm, but the inside was cold. I had him look at it to be sure it wasn’t overheating. The servers at Hudson’s restaurant was so friendly and efficient with my food and even my birthday cake. They sang happy birthday to me and even brought extra plates for me to share with other guests! Lovely service staff!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is quite large so it’ll take a few days to find where everything is efficiently. Some elevators don’t go all the way up or down, so you’ll have to check what deck you actually need. All of the common areas were very clean and the staff made sure to keep areas that were slippery signed to remind you to be careful. The lifeguard was on duty at the main pool for the dance party and during the day.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was very clean, spacious for 1 guest (or 2) and the colors were calming. The bathroom was just as clean, fresh towels, larger shower stall area and well though out handle and holders for your necessities. There’s a drying line already set for you to use and there’s settings for your shower preferences. There’s even a foot rest for stability. The balcony was comfortable size for 2 people, and the chairs were comfortable and clean. The doors were easy to lock/unlock.

Ship tip

If you haven’t reserved for a specialty dining, show in advance, or spa reservations make sure you go to guest services right upon embarking to get availability. Space is very limited. Also, take your phone/camera with you to breakfast. As you look out at the sunrise, you may just see sharks or dolphins beside your ship!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Since there was no luggage to set out, there was no need to set out bags the night before. Passengers went to breakfast, collected their bags and started lining up in the atrium area and finding the end of the line. No crew told you where to go, but all the guests would remind you where the line ended. It snakes through the atrium, casino and back through the Prima Theater. Once they give the all clear you move quickly. Remember to take a mask as no one is keeping distance air wearing a mask. (I got covid upon returning and I’m boosted)

Hi going on in December 16th and wondering how to make reservations for the shows as I see they are limited as well as specialty dining. Thanks
