Surfside Café & Grill on Norwegian Prima

Terrible food, desserts were not even good!

The buffet as many will say is far too small, I get the idea of reducing the size of buffet and compensate with the new foodhall but with the layout of the ship meaning you also have a lot of foot traffic through the buffet, the size made it claustrophobic. There also wasn’t much choice so we didn’t eat here often (two times in the ten days).

The buffet, aka the Surfside, was delicious. The big issue, as most have said, is seating. Partly because cruisers tend to sit and enjoy the view after they eat. I even saw people playing cards there, taking up tables. Also, there's a covered outdoor eating area that got underused. For breakfast, they open Food Republic for buffet seating. It also was under utilized. My major complaint was the cook to order omelette station made the buffet line confusing.there should be a separate line just for the omelette orders. Lunch and dinner didn't seem to have the same lube issue.

Surfside Cafe and grill was always busy. Finding a seat was not easy. They had quite a bit of food choices. Food was good in general. Cafeteria staff cleared out tables quickly allowing others to take the table. They worked hard.

This venue is 1/4 the size it should be for the number of guests on this ship. A massive miss by NCL!

Great food. Very busy, but additional seating was available if you didn’t mind walking a ways. Loved the Asian night.

I don’t care what anyone else has to say…while this place was crowded…but never had a problem finding a seat. Breakfast was my favorite as I LOVE omelets but their lunch and dinner options never disappointed!

Poorly laid out, not enough seating, not enough room to move around, and very average food. This is where I contracted the food borne illness. Nothing about this dining set up is done well.
