Cruise to Alaska

Sail Date: August 01, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

We are a group of twenty one passengers- Grandparents, kids, spouses, and grandchildren. Lots of cruising experience. We enjoyed our experience, with two exceptions:

* inconvenient shore itinerary - 6.00 am to 1.00pm in Ketchikan, 6.00pm to 11.30pm in Victoria.
* Too much emphasis on spending money while aboard the ship. It seems that NCL want passengers to spend time on the ship, and not on shore.

Pros: Very Good for families with kids

Cons: Too much promotions to spend money abroad the ship

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? Yes!

Children's Programs
Very good program. the 12 kids in our group loved it all.
Ship Quality
Clean and nice ship.
Food and Dining
Very good selection of tasty food.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Good\, helpful\, friendly staff.
