Review summary

The ship was beautiful and was kept sparkling clean! Our oceanview cabin fit us three fine and the beds were very comfortable! It was a perfect size for our two night cruise and we didn't have trouble finding anything.

Food and Dining

The variety of restaurants was good. However, it was extremely hard to get a reservation at a decent time for quite a few of them. I believe it was probably due to the fact that it was only a two night cruise and everyone scrambled to get into the nicer restaurants. We managed to go to the Lotus after 9p.m. We had to pay the cover of $10. The appetizers were tasty, but the noodle dishes and the duck that we ordered tasted horrible. We noticed the couple sitting next to us left both their meals practically uneaten. Very disappointing. We mainly dined at the Garden Cafe, which was a typical buffet style experience. The food was ok. You have to pay for soft drinks.

Casino was small and busy but we had fun. We couldn't get a reservation for any service at the Spa. The receptionist kept asking us to wait "two seconds" when we were trying to make a reservation until we finally left. Again, probably due to the fact that it was a two night cruise and people were hurrying to do everything.

Service and Staff

We had some friendly staff, but we also experienced staff that didn't seem to care too much about going above and beyond. The only other cruise I went on (Disney), the staff was incredibly friendly everywhere. We were wondering if the "autogratuity" that is added onto each transaction on the ship might have lessened the desire for some of the staff to display good customer service.

Our cabin was great. Very comfortable even for three of us sharing! Beds were awesome!

Pros: cabins were nice, ship was very clean

Cons: the food in the Lotus restaurant was awful and service wasn't as friendly as you would expect throughout the ship
