Norwegian Majesty

7 Night Bermuda (Boston Roundtrip)

Sail date: July 22, 2007

Ship: Norwegian Majesty

Cabin type: Oceanview

Traveled as: Family (older children)

Reviewed: 17 years ago

Review summary

The staff knows the ship will be ending it's tenure with NCL in October. As a result services are lacking and the ship is looking a bit shoddy. Second trip in two years on the Majesty and excellent first time and so so now.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Almost impossible to get a reservation in the two restaurants that require them. Food was tasty and more than enough. Portions are small so just order as many as you like.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
The pool band played EXACT same songs each day and night. BORING! Evening shows were blah except for the hypnotist the last evening.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
No smiles or real friendly faces in the staff of this trip.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Looked much better two years ago.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Smallest cabin ever experienced. Lasty year Even last trip on Majesty had a larger room. Great room steward!

Ports of call

St. George's, Bermuda

3 out of 5
Clearwater Bay, St. David's Light House, Fort St. Catherine, Rum Swizzles (by the pitcher) at The Swizzle Inn. Large glasses of red or white wine at the Whitehorse Tavern only $5.00. Bargain for Bermuda.
Don't Miss: Snorkeling off of Ferry Point Park!!!!

Pros: Bermuda

Cons: Rain

Recommends Norwegian Majesty? No.
