Review summary

Will say that overall we enjoyed the trip and found the crew to be very friendly. We should also note that we had recently sailed on the Jewel just a few months earlier. We found the food to be good-not great but just good. The ship is in definite need of refurbishing. Our bed was suprisingly more comfortable than the previous trip. Ports were ok-problems with tour groups-once they had you on the bus you were captive-they brought you to friend's shops and overall left you with very little free time. We did discuss this with Ship. Main goal of the cruise was to do the Panama Canal and this was the best part. We were lucky to have our balcony on the side moving thru the canal with other ships. We did not leave the balcony the whole time and just ordered room service.
