Review summary
I believe this cruise would have been much more enjoyable if the weather would've cooperated.
We were unlucky to experience rainy, cloudy & foggy days while touring our first time in Alaska. The cruise itself was pretty good and we had a great time, which we always make fun out of every one we take. Our highlight was in Juneau where we did get to see whales, however, no breaching and beautiful Mendenhall Glacier. Again, if the weather had been better we could have seen more of Alaska's beauty. The tours we took in Ketchikan and Skagway were so, so since, again, the weather was bad and unable to see more critters other than a few eagles off into the distance.

Ship tip
If you're an avid cruiser, don't expect the Norweigan Jewell to match their amenities. Nice to not have to dress up this time, but this ship was just average. However, when we took the NCL Pride of America in Hawai a few years back, it was great.
