Review summary
The cruise was relaxing and enjoyable. We enjoyed calm seas and good weather.
The food was good and there were plenty of choices available. We normally dined in the buffet area on the 12th floor. Choices always included, salad, pasta, pizza, burgers, hotdogs, desserts, fruit, sandwitches, hot selections (roast beef, roasted pig, chicken, fish, lamb - not all on each day), asian selections (indian, chinese), and plenty of cooked vegs.
We enjoyed our excursions in the 3 ports, and generally wished that we had more time available during each trip.
Montego bay - bamboo rafting: fun, but short.
Caymans - Catamaran & stingray city: it was fun to get in the water and play with the rays
Cozumel - Clear Kayak and snokeling at Playa Uvas (grapes beach?) : This was our favorite, the water is so amazingly clear near Cozumel, amazing!
We liked the shows presented nightly in the theater on decks 6&7.
Comparison with other cruises:
NCL did a much better job of getting people on and off the boat, even when tendering in the Caymans, than a different cruise we had with Holland America. This was the first cruise with "Freestyle" dining, we liked not having an assigned table and eating shift. This did leave meeting and socializing with other guests more at our initiative.
