Review summary

Ridiculous - no straws If you are a smoker, you will freeze. Very small open areas. The only inside room is about a 12 x 12 and 30 people, elbow to elbow.

We did our homework and knew there wasn’t any straws and came prepared. As for the smoking, me personally I am a non smoker I think that there was plenty of places to smoke the getaway has more. What I do not care for is when smokers smoke in their room and dump their ashes on my balcony and then a lit cigarette that landed on our lay out chair! Safety first! I don’t care that people smoke just be respectful of others.

We brought our own straws and didn’t need them because they gave use paper straws, that should be the least of your worries

No straws will be the norm soon. On land and at sea. I bought a great collapsible, reusable straw for my upcoming cruise. It's a small inconvenience and worth it to keep our waters clean and marine life healthier. If anyone is interested it's called "The Final straw" They have a website.

And as far as smoking....live and let live. If people want to smoke, let them enjoy it in the few places allotted to them on a cruise ship. No need to be so judgmental. 🍸

We had the same issue on Princess with the straws the first day of our Mexican cruise. But have you ever tried to drink a Bloody Mary full of ice or a blended Dirty Banana without a straw? It was annoying! So when we went to Senor Frogs, we asked for plastic straws and they gave us a handful of them with no problem and a chuckle! We were ready when we went to the bar later that day, but were surprised when the bartender actually produced paper straws for us! But we kept our plastic straws with us just in case. I think there are bigger issues in the world today than controlling plastic straws! 🤣🤣🍸🍸

No straws Are being banned on all cruise ships and throughout the United States within the next year or so if you care about the environment And all these beautiful places you spend so much money to get to it makes you realize that you can not keep throwing away all this plastic And if you are that serious about a straw they have reusable ones that you Can buy on Amazon for almost nothing AlsoIt'll be a great day when cruises are smoke-free
