Review summary

My husband and I went on this trip for our honeymoon. There were a few things that disappeared us during our time on the Escape. Since we didn’t book in time for an excursion in Cape Canaveral, we were out of luck and there was nothing that could be done for us. We also couldn’t book on the first island in the Bahamas. Finally, we were able to book an excursion in Nassau Bahamas and was finally able to enjoy our honeymoon to find out that we were skipping that destination due to the weather. This was our original Bermuda cruise that was changed to Bahamas. Also, We ordered the meal package and paid gratuity for it and weren’t able to use the actual package so we lost over $30 in that. Even on my birthday, the 15th, we couldn’t make a reservation for a nice restaurant so that was a little disappointing. On Saturday, someone in your guest services told us we could submit the bingo tickets that would be used in a drawing for a free cruise and she told us the wrong time so we missed that too. To be honest, the trip was filled with a lot of disappointments during our time there. This was supposed to be nothing but special for our honeymoon.

Think of a cruise like a wedding....it can take a year to plan it. Next time invest some time in planning your cruise just as you did for your wedding. You'll have a much better experience. 😉

I find it hard to believe that you couldnt use your specialty dining nights. You have 90 days prior to sailing to book reservations. That’s your fault. You were also given notice that the ship would change ports, so again your own fault for not making advance reservations. Lesson learned...

It's too bad your original itinerary had to be changed. But why couldn't u book excursions? You did you didn't book in time for a Cape Canaveral excursion? When when your itinerary changed? As far as the restaurants go, those should have been reserved way in advanced since your ship didn't change. Why couldn't u use the meal package? All your specialty dining needs to be arranged before u set foot on the ship. And since it was your honeymoon, seems like you would have been planning this for a while. Next time plan better. You won't have so many disappointments. And congrats on your marriage!! 👏
