Review summary

Ok so this was my very first cruise and I was not sure I would enjoy it. I will start with my positives. The room was better than expected, we had a mini suite, and it was compact but that is to be expected on a ship. The bathroom was awesome and the shower amazing. The balcony was great and I enjoyed several sunsets off of it. The staff on the ship were all, bar one person who gave us wrong information, excellent. For people who work as many hours as they do they were so happy and professional. A real credit to the Norwegian cruise organization. Now for the negative......far too many people for my personal liking, rude families with extremely loud children. Now I understand that is strictly not the cruise lines fault but to a certain extent it is their fault, so many kids and hardly any room around the pool. Thankfully we had got tickets to the vibe club but there was a lot of Haven people in the Vibe because of all the kids in the Haven areas! The elevators were terrible.....simple terrible. A final positive, the restaurants not including the buffet, are good. Food is tasty and my only complaint is they didn’t have the lava cake every night just once night. Would I cruise again, probably not. I would rather spend the money on a beach resort all inclusive......
