We had large group of 21 all family on this cruise. Our child was ill from bad rocking and rolling. Suffered from vertigo. Bad first cruise experience. We tried get off in Jamaica but weather prevented so got off in Cayman.
Embarkation

Our first cruise and Figured out cruising is not for us. Ship was clean, staff friendly. Rough seas, boat rocking and felt it all. Missed port in Jamaica due to weather. More crowded than I expected and ship seemed not layer out as I had imagined.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Garden cafe was super crowded every time we went in there, hard to find seating and food was okay. Not really impressed with dining room. Same menu pretty much in the two nights I ate there. Brazialian dinner was interesting.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Pool is ridiculously small for 4000 people. It’s like a 20x40. And then there was pool for kids where water slides were. Very small. The Space around the pool extremely crowded and is where they did activities and contests but it seemed there was hardly room to do any of it. Kids enjoyed ropes course
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Kids had fun doing family karaoke, bingo, and dance parties. Most activities at night were for young adults , the parties, bars etc.
Children's Programs
Our kids 13 and up
Service and Staff

Most waiters in dining room weren t the friendliest but got the job done. Stewards on our floor were friendly and efficient however most didn’t speak good English and sometimes hard to understand.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
Thought layout of ship was choppy and closed off. First cruise but imagined more open design and being able to walk around the outskirts of the ship all way around. It seemed like fighting for elevators during peak meal times and tables in the buffet.
Cabin / Stateroom

Clean, bed slept well. Plenty towels. You would think though with the cost of a cruise they could at least had bottled water more accessible instead having run up to cafe to get glass of water every time we needed a drink.
Ship tip
Was like being at Disney world in peak season. Crowded, waiting for tables to eat lunch And didn’t help the water was rough with 10 ft swells and was rocking. The captain never announced or made us aware the seas were casing the boat to shimmy and rock. Was a little unnerving.
Research before booking a cruise and research on the ship is essential. There’s good filtered water all around the ship. Not only at the buffet. I always bring a sport bottle and fill it up with water. So I never run out. And you say you wanted a space to walk around the ship. What about the waterfront?
Research, research, research. Many people have high expectations for their first cruise. The time of the year may have had something to do with the rough seas. It would be nice to have bottled water, but most cruise ships don’t provide it for free. We ordered 6 big bottles when we arrived and split the cost between two cabins. We learned after our first cruise to eat at off peak times . We would do breakfast between 7 and 8. Lots of space at those times.
