Review summary

The ship, amenities and most staff.

The Atrium buffet food was cold.
The internet café staff was terrible. No personality or customer service skills to solve an issue. Basically blew my wife off when she asked for assistance. Internet service was horrible. Purchased two unlimited packages. Was worthless. Never again. Ship ran out of some drink mixes a couple days before cruise ended. NCL should look at who they sell their excursions through. Transportation buses/taxis were death traps. If same transportation taxi/bus showed up for may return trip to ship, I would have taken a cab. Had a snorkel equipment problem and only one of two could go snorkeling. Tour provider could care less. Although they wanted a high rating on Trip Advisor. NCL did provide some remedy. Purchased 4 CruiseNext Deposits. Not sure if going to get a refund at this point. NCL was not so outstanding that I would not look at other cruise lines.
For the reasons above, this is why I rated it only very good, 4 stars. Mark

The additional costs add up. Initially the price looks attractive, but other fees and excursions add up. Wait until you get your bill. might be sticker shock

Just a tip to help you out. I usually do my own thing and explore the city on my own. If you have Street smarts and common Sense go for it. If you need an excursion book in Port where the tourist areas are. From my experience it can be cheaper or maybe 10 to 20 dollars more but for me always a better more for the money experience. Also never had a problem getting back to the ship on time. Most frequent cruisers will experience a bad cruise so just take a deep breath try a different cruise line and cruise again. If you still don't like it after that maybe an all inclusive resorts would be better. As in response to the buffet issue, well it is a buffet you can't expect it to always be fresh. I had the cold breakfast buffet on The Carnival Splendor but don't sweat it those crew members are working double time and are getting underpaid for the amount of work they do. But cruising isn't for everyone I just hope your next cruise experience is better for you.

Sounds like cruising is not for you. It's supposed to make you relax and I can feel your stress in this review. Get a massage, lie in the sun, order room service, RELAX! Not sure why you are allowing such small issues ruin an expensive trip. Reevaluate. Then, relax.
