Review summary
We've been on several cruises with Norwegian (and other carriers) and we were very impressed with the level of service we received. You will be well treated, well fed, and entertained. The decor and layout of this newer ship is wonderful.
The islands of Tortola and St. Thomas were a real treat, although Nassau was not my cup of tea. We took excursions for the first two islands, and walked Nassau ourselves. The stores were fairly expensive, although I picked up something at the straw market which was a good deal. Also stopped in at the Pirate Museum which would be an interesting and affordable - and walkable - visit for a family. Just up the street from there was a fascinating church if you like history - and it was free to visit.
It's worthwhile to try out the premium restaurants on this ship, although the food at the complimentary venues was outstanding so you won't suffer if you don't want to spend the extra dough. Try the tapas bar overlooking the "waterfront", and go to Food Republic, which was near our room, to get fusion sushi bites. Cagneys did a respectable job as a premium steakhouse, and the French Bistro scored a 10 in food preparation.
I also must recommend the Thermal Suite. While the deal is around $200 for the duration of the ship, the environment is like having a spa at your disposal. The snow room was not functioning during our visit but everything else was absolutely exception. I'm going to miss that therapy pool!

Ship tip
Bring a sweater, even if it's summer. You'll need it in some areas where the AC is at work.
