Review summary

Overall the Norwegian Encore is a beautiful ship with great food, excellent entertainment, and plenty of onboard activities for people of all ages. I would highly recommend trying the go carts. The are surprisingly fast.

Quick and easy to board. It only took 15 from the time I arrived at the terminal to when I was onboard.

Overall the food was very good. The Garden Cafe makes fresh omelettes for breakfast and has plenty of other options too.

Outstanding Italian cuisine. So many great appetizers, entrees, and deserts. You cannot go wrong with any of the menu items.

Had the Lobster roll sliders and the panko crusted red snapper sandwich. Both were fresh and delicious. Well worth the onboard charge.

Open 24 hours. Great place to get a bit to eat at anytime. It is not a buffet but rather a restaurant where you are served.

The Thermal Suite in the Spa was just ok. I may be a little spoiled as I was on the Celebrity Edge in June and I am comparing the two experiences.

Overall I found the service and staff to be excellent in all areas. Some are friendlier than others but it was most likely an introvert vs extrovert experience. Extroverts tend to be more engaging by nature. That being said, every one was very cordial and pleasant.

Beautiful beaches! If affordable to you, I would recommend reserving a cabana or villa. You can also get a message on the private island. Only negative is you lose your access to the ship’s WiFi. But the Shipmate App allows you to write an island or venue review and save it without WiFi. Love that feature!
