Norwegian Dream

7 Night Bermuda (Boston Roundtrip)

Sail date: June 15, 2008

Ship: Norwegian Dream

Cabin type: Oceanview

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 14 years ago

Review summary

The ship was just OK, but we preferred the Majesty. We did like our room on the Dream more that the Majesty, but overall, we preferred the Majesty. We found the ship somewhat confusing and had a difficult time finding things. Also, the food wasn't as good as in the past and we really had an issue with the lack of trays in the buffet areas. By the time we made several trips to the buffet for food and drinks, our meal was cold.

Food was disappointing and was much better on prior cruises.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
For the most part, everyone was friendly, but there were some that we suspect didn't meet NCL's customer service requirements.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Difficult to navigate through ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We loved our stateroom and the room stewards.

Ports of call

St. George's, Bermuda

3 out of 5
Much to our disappointment, the ship docked in Hamilton and not St. George's.

St. George's, Bermuda

Much to our disappointment, the ship docked in Hamilton and not St. George's.

Pros: Our stateroom and excellent service provided by the room stewards

Cons: Lack of trays in the buffet dining areas - had to make several trips to have a complete meal. Also, found it difficult to navigate through the ship - signs could be improved. Quality of food was not as good as past NCL cruises.
