Review summary

Great cruise even though weather didn't co-operate

Embarkation

I took a shuttle by Norwegian from the airport to port. Bus was great, but a little bit of chaos at the port, granted we were early, and they were still disembarking. Once that was done, got on real quick, was Platinum - so almost 1st group called to get on. Over all wait at pier to get on was about 45 minutes.

Pretty much same activites as other NCL ships. The pool was a decent size, and l loved the staged lounge chairs. Casino staff super friendly.

Entertainment

I was happy that xmas music wasn't played all the time (it happened 2 years previous on the Pearl -pool side and hallways 24-7) entertainment was good for a smaller ship. The comedian Keith Bender was so funny. Laughed non-stop.

Service and Staff

Staff was great, room steward was amazing, everyone was very nice, service in restaurants was attentive, bar was decent, and there were the most cocktail servers l have seen by the pool.

Clean ship. No complaints at all. Public Bathrooms always clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was great. Roomy, but bathroom was a bit on the smaller size. View was amazing. Ship seems to go to alternate sides when in port.

Disembarkation

Super fast. I had booked an early flight (10:30 at TPA - don't recommend it that early) was up and in line to walk off with my luggage (in line at 6, cleared for dis embarkation at 7:45) I was at the airport at 8:30. Tip - if you walk off the ship, there are guys giving you a ride to the airport for $8 a person. They walk you a short distance to their small buses. Great deal.
