Review summary

The Dawn is an older smaller ship but it is kept in good condition and was very clean. We had a mid ship balcony on the 9th deck. The room was nice but a little smaller than Carnival balcony rooms, the bathroom was amazingly cramped and not well thought out. There is not much storage area for personal care items so bring a hanging storage bag. We found the food in the main dining room for dinner to be good but breakfast was not as good, they also forgot my breakfast one day and when I did get it, it was cold. We loved O’Sheehan’s Bar and Grill, it was a great place to get lunch or a snack. The sushi bar was also very fresh and delicious. It is hard to get a seat in the buffet area in the morning, we had to bring our food back to our room a couple of mornings. The bars are very crowded and hard to get a drink, and they also ran out of many types of liquor the last sea day. The magic show in the main theater was awesome! Bermuda is a great island. It is very clean and the people are very friendly, I could just stare at the beautiful blue water all day. It is also nice to be able to come and go as you please for the 3 days you are in port. There is a beach within walking distance from the ship and also the ferry’s that take you to Hamilton and St George’s are close by as well as moped rentals and buses. Overall we had a good cruise. If you live in the New England area, leaving out of Boston is very convenient.
