Review summary

I recently came back from the Boston to Bermuda trip and was highly impressed. I have been on a few cruises previously but this one far exceeded my expectations. Unlike some other cruises I never felt rushed to do things or to get to meals at a certain time. I did things at my own pace and was able to enjoy myself. Another big factor in my good time was the staff on the cruise. They were amazing. I never once saw any staff angry or upset. They always appeared happy, having fun, and willing to help with whatever was needed.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
A few other people had taken this cruise before I did and said that they did not like the food. I had no issues with it and liked everything I ate. I liked the ambiance in the places I ate however sometimes the lighting was a little too low at night but some people like that. Unlike other cruises you do not have specific times to dine or are made to eat with other people. Here you can go to the Garden Cafe that is open from 5:30AM - 11PM and there is always a variety of food offered. If you go to the other restaurants that have no additional charge there may be a wait time and there are no reservations. There are other restaurants that you can go to that have additional charges but I did not go those. Usually what I did was eat breakfast\, lunch\, a small snack at 5:30\, go to the 7:30 show and ate dinner at 9/9:30PM so I avoided long waits. I did find it odd that to get soda for the week pay $50 for a smaller mug and paid no additional costs or pay between $2.00-2.40 per glass/can

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Generally there is always something to do. They provide a daily program of activities for the day\, as well as suggestions. At night there are shows you can attend at 7:30PM or 9:30PM. There is also a casino\, a lounge that is 18+ after 11PM\, and a few nights a pool party with a DJ. I was never bored.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I adored the staff on this cruise. They always appeared happy and had high energy. Anything you needed they would assist you with and they never made you feel that you were causing an issue or putting them out.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
This ship was smaller than what I was used to. The pool was on the smaller side so you should try to get there early to ensure you get good seating. The cabin I was in was always clean however the last day when we were packing we found some additional clothing on the lower shelves in the closest that were not mine. It was in the way back of a low shelf and could have easily been missed. The ship overall was very clean however sometimes the public restrooms near the pool or Garden Cafe- located near the pool- would get very dirty and flooded.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I was in an inside cabin on the 9th floor with 2 other people. The rooms are small\, but most cruise rooms tend to be. I had no window and think in the future I would opt for a balcony. The rooms were always clean and I had no issues with the condition of them.

Pros: Staff on the ship; activites offered\, shows; you can go at your own pace for the most part.

Cons: Sometimes having to wait for reservations at the restaurants and you can't make reservations.
