Positive Cruise

Sail Date: April 27, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was clean and well appointed. Plenty of activity areas and quiet zones (good for reading outdoors). There was a problem with disembarkation of this particular cruise which was not apparent when embarking. The crew was fantastic regarding interaction with the guests, emergency drills and maintenance. Ship cleanliness standards were remarkable. Positive focus on antibacterial use to keep everyone healthy and happy.

Pros: The staff and the ship's amenities and entertainment.

Cons: Toilet system could improve a bit.

Recommends Norwegian Dawn? Yes!

Food and Dining
Dining rooms were well appointed and the food was excellent. Of particular note, the portions of each meal served were perfect.
Cabin / Stateroom
Clean, comfortable, had everything one might need. Toilet system occasionally had glitches (delayed or lack of flushing) but this may have been due to overload or flushing of inappropriate materials.
Service and Staff
Without fail, every member of the crew was friendly and knowledgeable, and greeted every passenger pleasantly wherever and whenever one changed to see them.
Different shows every night. The entertainers put a lot of effort into their acts.
