Review summary

Getting on to ship was easy and getting off ship was even easier, no more then 20 minutes either way. Our stateroom and ship well maintained and clean. Food was good but wish in main dining rooms had a little more choices. Didn't like the idea of having only 2 free shows for week, third show includes dinner and have to pay, use to having different show each night. Docked in Kings Warf and was on wrong side of ship, I selected port side because that usually means when docked will be facing Bermuda. We traveled with 2 other couples and had good time.

There's a discussion going on over on Cruise Critic about the docking..... someone is keeping a log if you're interested: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2514351

cruzeing74: not a consistent pattern for Bermuda..... It was discussed during a Cruise Critic Meet and Greet with the officers as late as May 2017.... (it's actually the 2nd most common question for Bermuda itinerary..... the 1st is the on board staff citizenship make up)

The ship alternates every week it pulls in and the next it turns around. They do this to test the lifeboats on each side every week.

So it ruined your cruise to be on the wrong side of the ship when they docked? Should have told the captain to back in.

Loooka: may work for other ports but unless you know the maintenance and training schedule for your ship or the Dockyard operations schedule...... Bermuda is one of those ports that it is 100% impossible to project even on day of departure...

If you want to get a sense of which side of the ship will be toward the dock you can watch the webcam week-over-week and judge from that. It is not foolproof, but will increase your knowledge for any specific port.

is there ice coffee in the breakaway?

Glad you had a great time.... the docking at the pier is completely random and based on ship maintenance, training, dockside work etc..... there is no logical way to predict which side faces the bay or the Dockyard

Ship switches every week from port side to starboard side being at pier. I thought there were plenty of other things to do in evenings band in atrium every night, game shows and howl at the moon.

What time did they let you in in ny and what time were you off? Was the cruise pretty full?
