Review summary

The convenience of leaving from NYC and not having the hassle of flying to another city was terrific.  So many times the stress of flying just starts off the vacation on the wrong foot. This could not have been more pleasant.  I would love to see more trip options by NCL using the Manhattan piers; Brooklyn and Bayonne, NJ can both be traffic nightmares.

Other than transportation, the ship, crew and seas were all terrific. A bit chilly and rainy but this was one of the smoothest voyages I have been on.

I was disappointed to have to close the balcony door too frequently because cigarette smoke kept drifting into the room. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable.

Ship tip

Get to the burger grill on deck 16 early if you are hungry; the lines were the longest on the ship.
