Review summary

We had a wonderful time! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The boat needs more hot tubs for adults only! Would be great if there was an adults only dining option or time and an area on the ship specifically for adults at all times. Disappointed the spa area was closed. We were not told that until we got on the ship. Planned to purchase that so we had some special things to pamper ourselves with for our 30th.

Food was good, but nothing outstanding. There were 3 different types of lasagna entrees every night on the menu...weird. Would like to have seen something like shrimp cocktail as an appetizer one night.

Ship was very clean! I would like to suggest that on a future ship, many more hot tubs be available. Only 4 at the pool, two of which were loaded with children. Maybe have a couple hot tubs at the children's pool so all 4 at the adult pool can be used for adults.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was a mini-suite. Was a little small, but the bathroom was beautiful and roomy.

we were on the breakaway this past feb and not impressed with it. not enough elevators, no covered pools for a ship that sails out of nyc year round, waterfall area wasnt working, kids play area was undergoing repairs most of the cruise. first time on it and wasnt thrilled. taking the gem next year.

I guess you missed Spice H2O on deck 16 Aft. It's adults only until 10pm. Great bar, adult only hot tubs and a waterfall you can walk thru.
