Review summary
Breakaway is a fun ship and I can imagine how great it is in the hot weather when all of the outdoor areas can be used, especially the outdoor restaurants. That said, the winter cruise gets crowded & a bit hectic but there's lots to do. Catch the sail away party on deck 16 and wear your hats & coats! If you do the short cruise you MUST book your spa appt super early, get on the boat early & run to deck 15 to book the spa time. The NCL concierge app does not work for spa. If you book a package that includes room service, book that right away & be sure to get a menu if it's not already in your room. Go to guest services on deck 6 to confirm number for room service. It's big, study the map they provide so you can save time & feet getting around on a short cruise! NCL concierge app was only good to keep track of expenses & already booked apts. App is not good for booking spa appointments or dinner reservations
