The Mexican Riviera cruise is simply divine. As a couple in their late 30's, this cruise had everything to offer for us. My husband and I are Mexican Nationals, but never visited the west coast of the country. We loved all the ports of call except for Ensenada. That should be dropped from the itinerary. Even with the COVID restrictions, the cruise was simply amazing. We highly recommend NCL!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
The embarkation process was so simple. I truly enjoy that the safety drills are online now. The COVID testing at the port was so easy. It did not take longer than 15 mins. It was very smooth. The only thing I would suggest is that the area for Access and Functional Needs is clearly marked. I accidently sat in the waiting area that was designated for them and their families. (Oops)

Food is always delicious. Le Bistro, Food Republic have always been my favorites. This time we tried Los Lobos and Teppanyaki and it was amazing!!! Buffet and Savory are always on point.
Onboard Activities

There is so much to do! I love the Not so Newlywed Game Show and the trivia nights. The Casino is great. I would suggest 1 additional poker table.
Entertainment

Six was amazing!!!! I highly recommend going to see it. Prohibition hour is also great. We never got board with the live music
Children's Programs
We didn't participate because we do not have children, but we did do go carts, waterslide and laser tag. If we had fun, the kids would definitely have fun.
Service and Staff

Everyone is so kind and fun! I loved going to the Cafe for breakfast because of the Washy Washy Songs. I could have conversations with all of them and no one was ever rude or hesitant to chat. Our room steward made or vacay!

We got an upgrade to Club Balcony and it was fabulous! Shower had 4 jets, we had 2 bathrobes and 1 free laundry service. So amazing!
Ship tip
On the first day, really check out the ship, know its layout. The time you spend knowing the ship, less likely to get lost. Also in the cabin hallways, the carpet has fish. All the fishes are swimming the same direction, that direction is to the front of the ship. Helps with directions.
The process was simple. You are given a color the day before. When your color is called it is time for you to disembark. If you do not want to carry your luggage off, make sure you have them packed and ready the night before. Place all the suitcase in the hallway in front of your door by 11pm. It makes life so much simpler.
