Review summary

Over all not a bad cruise but not our best adventure

We arrived at 2:00pm and were on the ship in no time at all

As a smoker I know we are limited to areas but the area they placed all the smokers in was very small with almost no cover from the elements. This was on the Aft deck 17 which was not being used by other guest and had a bar are that the entire area could have been opened to smokers witout problem. There were other areas of the ship that were closed down for the entire cruise that could have been opened to the smokers as they to are customers. The food in the buffet was mediocre compared to some other ships I have been on. Very limited spa access unless you are spending quite a bit more money for the options. This cruise line offers what they call the Haven Club which is 1st class all the way everyone else would be considered steerage.

Our cabin steward should be the captain he was the best. For those that have been on this ship Washy, Washy always brought a smile going into the eating areas

To us it was very cut up with the buffet in the bow when your in the aft it is a long walk. The ship was clean and in good order. Make note that decks 6,7 & 8 are the inside passage from for to aft with the most ease.

Cabin / Stateroom

Good size comfortable bed with easy view TV. Bathroom was large and so was shower. Good use of space. Light controls are good once you figure them out. USB chargers right next to the bed on both sides

Ship tip

Try to get there deals and book early. Norwegian offers a number of freebies that we missed out such as drink packages, book on board activities on line when you make your reservation if you can or as soon as you get to your rooms it is all done on the TV
