Review summary

This ship might be new, but it is not worth what they charge you for it. If you don't book your "fun times" when you get on the ship you will just miss out. The line to book for stuff is nuts. Elevators are a nightmare. When you get to ports you have to buy a ride into town, which they don't tell you about. But of course you could walk for 45 minutes one way if you like. The men wait staff are much more friendlier than the female. There are people walking around to get you drinks, however they just walk past you like your not there. I feel I should be getting the 17.50 I paid for the service to myself. This will be my last cruise I ever take. If you ask me it's like being in prison. Only certain individuals get "special treatment " from the guards oops I mean wait staff. The food is the same day after day after day. Specialty restaurants are not worth the price you pay for them. Make sure you bring peptobismol with you because that is an item that is not allowed for purchase but trust me you'll need it!!!! Or you'll have to go to medical and pay a 900.00 bill for some. Learn from another man's mistake who didn't listen to his wife.

Wow! I did not find the food to be repetitive and with as many eating venues as the bliss offers I cannot imagine being on this cruise for one week and eating the same thing twice unless it was your choice to do so. Ketchikan Juneau Skagway and Victoria are ports were the ship is no more than 5 to 15 minute stroll into town so I am not sure where this person docked! If a week on the bliss was prison - lock me up and throw away the key...please!

I’m sorry you were disappointed on your first cruise I hope this won’t stop you from ever closer I know you saying it but maybe you should start with a smaller crew to get the real feel of it sometime would be overwhelming when you have your first cruise on a big ship a lot of people a lot of things going on and you hard to judge anything because it’s your very first time I know a lot of your Friends might have good things to say and you just don’t see it but I hope you don’t give up on it as you can tell from the other responders that they love cruising in a lot of them get tired of people complaining have a great day

Just got off the ship and didn't encounter any problems getting an elevator. We ate most meals (dinner) in the Manhattan and had a wonderful woman Ceclia who served us most nights. All the female waitstaff we dealt with were friendly and pleasant to deal with. We booked Havana and The Jersey Boys from home and the comedy shows once on board. We stood on the stand by line and the 3 if us were able to get in to see Happy Hour Prohibition.

I book all my dinner reservations on line weeks before we sail, even the main dining rooms. I also book my show reservations before we sail. Have taken many NCL cruses never had any problems.

Agree! Try a Vegas vacation for stress... from airport to car rental to check in to sightseeing.... I got to say I’ve put a lot of work into this already lol but I agree with Martey it’s make the best of it! Anything is better than work!

If you think cruising is like prison, then just arrest me NOW!!! Cruising, like life is what you make of it. It's too short and you can't do everything. Make the best of it.😎🛳️🍻🎉
