Review summary

I was hoping to find something that changed on the ship. We did enjoy the specialty restaurants. I found the unlimited dining package to be a bit overwhelming as we always felt full.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
When we arrived we were at our scheduled time 11:00 and we got right in line. It took no time to check in.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The change is we tried the unlimited dining package. We tried Jamie Oliver, Chops, Izumi and Hooked. Jonny Rockets was OK.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The weather was great for the trip. We stayed mainly in the solarium.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were all we had seen before.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service in the specialty restaurants was very good. I tipped extra above the 18%.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
I booked this cruise after the dry dock was scheduled as I was hoping to see some changes. I found out they only did some work behind the scenes and nothing I could of seen. I was a little disappointed the pub was closed for the first two days for maintenance, the coffee machine in the royal lounge is broken and will not be fixed anytime soon.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
This was the other change to our usual cabin. We were on deck seven at the front of the ship look out over thr helicopter pad. The room was a little bigger a large front looking window. The rest was the same except the TV was not infront of the bed.

Ship tip

Make sure you walk the whole exterior deck as there are you cam miss.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

4 out of 5
They changed up the parking while entering you use a credit card to enter, use the same on when exiting.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We did self assist and it was easy.

Glad you had a great cruise. Navigator is one of our favorite ships and find the specialty dining onboard is better than what we’ve experienced on Oasis or Quantum class ships.
